First encountered on the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, the Land Trilobite was initially thought to be an aberration that was cast off by the Migou in some unknown assault. However, it has recently been discovered by a group of natives that the Land Trilobites are actually emerging from the Gulf of Mexico to migrate about on land.
Specimens have ranged upwards of 2 meters (6.5 feet) in length.
Thus far, the Land Trilobite seems unconcerned with human presence, however they do respond defensively to movement by laying flat and becoming immobile for several minutes. Observation has shown that the creatures are actually subsisting on terrestrial vegetation and microorganisms in the soil.
The Land Trilobite has been classified as ‘Mostly Harmless’ by the N.E.G.
